This insulation board made of wood fibres is conditionally suitable for both underfloor heating and thermal insulation (R-Value for the total floor construction ‹ 0,15 m2 K/W). Due to the high wood content, a PE foil must be placed underneath as moisture protection when laying on mineral substrates.

This 5 mm thick folded matt made of extruded polystyrene has the best insulating features and impact sound within the add2 range. Irregularities in the sub-floor of up to 4,6 mm can readily be evened out.

The 2.2 mm thin foldable matt is easy and quick to lay out due to its bonded aluminium layer and the integrated adhesive tape.

Especially when laying on new substrates and in case of essential temperature differences with the rooms below, a PE foil must be used as a vapour barrier. It prevents moisture damage to the upper and lower sections of the floor.
